here is a video of my 1950’s American Flyer 302 AC locomotive around our antique Christmas tree, ornaments, cloth corded light set. Also notice in the background moombeam clock, fedora and Capitol of Hollywood phonograph. If it wasnt for the modern coke ornaments, this video would look like it was filmed back in the 50s. Still smokes great after all these years.

I could watch this video for hours. It captures Christmas and toy trains perfectly. I bought a 4 piece 302 like the one in this video so that I can run it around the tree in a few weeks.
My wife’s only toy …
My wife’s only toy train was an AF 302. I got what was left of the engine from her uncle. I restored it and it looks and runs like new. When my daughter was very small I got some Marx boxcars and painted them up for Christmas. I replaced the trucks with AF trucks and they match in size to the Flyer cars.
