Seeking vintage musical christmas bells from the 70′s…?

There were 8 or 9 bells that were strung together. The bells were made of metal and covered in a gold color designed plastic. Inside there was an electromagnetic clapper that was triggered when the tone in any of the 12 or so particular songs they played called for it. Each bell also had a light connected to the inside with the clapper so that when it went off the light lit as well. The device that was essentially the “brain” of the unit was bulky, heavy, and a semi-translucent dark green or black heavy plastic measuring a good 8 or 9 inches long, about 3 inches wide and a height of about 1.5 to 2 inches. On the top of the unit was a round metalic protrusion (not sure what that was… I’m strictly going on memory with all this)

Any one remember these? Do you know where I may be able to find them again in good or better condition? I’ve tried eBay and Amazon to a lesser degree, but nothing thus far.

It appears that there’s no modern equivalent to these spectacular bells.

Thanks

I found something quite similiar to what you described on ebay. Click on the link and see if this is close enough for you.
Hope so…
